About us
Little Arrows Play Cafe is a run as a non profit organization with firm goals to improve the lives of those in our community while providing a safe environment for children and parents alike. We are a place for children to play and for parents to connect. We are aimed toward children ages 3-8. Regular hours are intended for parents and children to enjoy the space together or separately. Setup up your laptop and pour yourself a coffee while the kids enjoy the many activities the cafe provides.
COVID-19 Preparedness
At Little Arrows we are trying to provide you with the safest play experience possible while making it fun and enjoyable for the kids. Yes, we have had to reduce the number of small toys we have at each play session, but we have brought in more large motor skill play equipment so your little ones can get their energy out faster!
We are offering 2 play sessions each day with a 30-minute cleaning window where all the high-touch surfaces get wiped down and clean toys are rotated into the play space.
Times are for pre-registration only, first to fill up, first to get a spot, limited to 5 family units per session at 9:30am - 11:30am and Noon - 2pm. Click the "Book a Time" to see if your spot is open or plan ahead with your friends to make a play date!
We are not requiring masks, but they are recommended, and we will be taking temperatures for people as they enter the building. Screening questions are required upon booking and upon entering the building.
We are doing our best to be open for you AND keep you safe! Best of all, because this is a limited Little Arrows experience, Engage Newark is sponsoring the summer so it is free for you, although we are accepting donations. Reserve your time today!
